Nze are Nicolas Sfintescu and fellow troublemaker Ezechiel Pailhes. United by a shared love of pianos, straw hats and stripping down to the waist in public, Ezechiel and Nicolas have been perpetrating various acts of musical mirth and mischief since 2004. Their tracks have dominated DJ and club playlists, and the group's no-holds-barred performances have earned them a reputation as an incendiary live electronic act in the tradition of Suicide

Timpani, spy guitars, marching snares, and cinematic flourishes all collide on Songs on the Rocks to create one of the most diverse sonic palates in dance music. The sonic jokers in Nze combine banging dance-floor beats with Tom Waits howls and French carnival music for an amazingly coherent good time album.
